Hi all and welcome to a new catalogue and a new look to my page. I am doing a blog hop again with some great friends, we are also all Stampin' Up! demonstrators. This blog hop is all showing off new items from the 2011 - 2012 ideas and catalogue. I must admit my wish list is quite big this year. There is a lot of new lovely things to play with in the new book. You can contact me to get one if you dont have one already. Anyway on to our hop.....
You might have just hopped over from my very talented friend Christine Blain's web ( Doesnt she have some just gorgeous work!!!) Don't worry if you havent come from there because if you follow the links at the bottom of each page you visit, you will do a complete circle and end up back where you started.
Today I have made two cards, one using our new christmas set called Merry & Type and the other using Easy Events, both sets I didnt think I would own but once I started seeing cards and other things made with them I just had to have them.
The Designer Series paper (DSP) is new also, it is in our new christmas set called Letters to Santa. Both the greeting and the christmas baubles are from the set called Merry & Type. I have used Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy and Garden Green. It has all been put on a Very Vanilla card base.
The only thing that isnt new on this card is the greeting. The paper is our new in colours, Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party as are the new Stampin' Wrtie markers I used to colour the cupcake from Easy Events stamp set.
You can use these markers to write with or colour your stamps to get multiple
colours on one stamp. If you look at my first card, the baubles are actually one
stamp, I just used the markers t0 get more than one colour on it as the markers
have the same ink as our wonderful ink pads.
The punch to make the border is stunning and also new. It is called Lace Ribbon Border. I have just cut it in two and put one half on each side of the stamped panel.
Anyway thats it from me, I hope enjoyed my contribution to our blog hop. Please leave u a little note at the end of our blogs, we would love to know you have popped by.
I now ask you to click over to the web of a great friend Di Dunk who I am sure will blow you away with her work. Thanks for dropping.
